I was mortified when I checked my blog two days ago only to find out that it got terminated. It was such a horrible feeling. I wanted to smash my keyboard, but I can’t do that without ruining my entire laptop. I sent an email to WordPress and I was right, they deleted my blog by mistake. I’m just glad I got it back.
Anyway, I learned some few Korean sentences while my blog was MIA.
1. 저는 많은 한국 친구를 만나고 싶어요. – I want to meet many Korean friends.
2. 내 머리가 너무 아파요. 그래서, 저는 잠잘 거예요. – My head is aching that’s why I’m going to sleep.
3. 당신은 저를 기분 좋게 해요. – You cheer me up.
4. 와! 진짜 오래만에 들어보는 노래. – Wow! It’s been a long time since I heard this song.
I recorded an audio file of me while practicing the sentences. My pronunciation is not good yet. I’m still working on it. I made a mistake while saying sentence #3. I raised the tone at the end of the sentence making the sentence into a question. I’m too lazy to record the audio again. Ugh, my voice is ugly. Hahaha!
I created sentences #1 and #2. Sentences #3 and #4 I just got it as sample sentences from resources online. I’m not sure about the English translation of sentence #4. There was no English translation provided. I’m guessing it means “Wow! It’s been a long time since I heard this song.” or “Wow! A song I haven’t heard in a long time.” If you have a better and more accurate translation for sentence #4, do tell me.
Just wanna share something before I end this post. I love this song. It never fails to cheer me up. It’s a song by one of my favorite non-kpop Korean groups, Sweet Sorrow. The title of the song is You (대단한 우연).
